Why would removing mounts bring an influx of new players and RP guilds?

Era accuracy aside horses would fit into a world like UO

My first UO pk experience was on Great Lakes in '97 I walked out of Trinsic and a guy named Ashe fried me. Lost the only weapon I had, but I fell in love with the thrill of the game.

Apocalypse decoded a little over 100 T-maps for me today.
It was fast and professional.

Hey Guys, I came across a spawn the other day that I hadn't seen before. It was a lizardman spawn with a prisoner in a cage and a small table and chairs camp. I don't remember these from the old UO days. Is this for Halloween or just something that pops up?
