Re: Swing on the run (dexing)
Just weighing in on this topic. been almost a year since iv last logged in to play here. all my real estate has fallen. still waiting for this critical issue to be resolved before i spend any more time playing here. I cant justify investing time into a server with gimped combat mechanics. I only pla...

Re: Swing on the run (dexing)
i admire your persistence on the issue Rose. I gave up on this a long time ago when i quit playing. Hopefully this (now 19 page) thread will bring enough attention to the issue, that the staff will reconsider the current mechanics regarding this problem. Its quite obvious there is a problem. I wish ...

Re: Swing on the run (dexing)
I have not played here or posted for quite a while, but i saw this thread and had to post. SOTR should be possible. The current state of combat mechanics has basically created a gimped, slow paced PvP style that never really existed in uo t2a. Here dexxers are worthless without vanqs, TONS of potion...

Re: events - prepare for e-rage.
i have a simple solution to propose. As i understand, there are many players who enjoy the events. There are also many players who do not enjoy the events (i fall into this category for reasons already stated in this thread and many many other threads like it). The pros/cons of having a server with/...

Re: 50,000 Diamond Wedding Bands (era accurate?)
It still amazes me how much effort you put into this thing Derrick. I cant even imagine the massive headaches brought on by managing a project like this. if only the OSI GM's and Admins had half the passion for this that you do, maybe the game wouldnt have failed so miserably later on. Well done sir.

Re: Chesapeake players plox
whats up man, i remember the name Dakkon/Clowni Violator. I was ClowN/HalloweeN on chesapeake (tKt, DsR, KoC). i dont play much these days, but i can help u guys get up and running if needed. CmaN and Blaze from chesapeake play here too, but i think they play about as rarely as i do anymore. If u gu...

Re: Clothing Bless Deeds
blessed clothing (and all other blessed items) would break in era. anyone arguing otherwise has either had their memory polluted by years of runuo experiences, or is just plain dumb. ALL blessed gear was breakable. I had a vanq kryss that was blessed right at the beginning of UOR that i destroyed. I...

Re: War Axes and Moonglow brown bears
sounds kind of familiar to me. i could be mistaken as well, but wasnt there a point in UO (probably original release, but maybe t2a) where war axes could be poisoned like other bladed weapons?

Re: Dedicated ghosters/trackers
i havnt really played here in a while, but i just thought i would pop in and say that i agree with Matron on this subject. I of course have 3 accounts here like most do. 11 fully built characters (about 6 of them iv never even played after macroing them up). The biggest thing this shard lacks is pla...

Re: Official UOSA Holidays
there should be an "end of the world" event on the day before the official release of UOR. not sure what the exact date was, but it could be made into a pretty cool annual event. celebrating the end of the greatest gaming era of our time.

Re: Era accuracy... and then what?
Era accuracy... and then what? This is a completely unrealistic thought, but maybe create a progressive UOSA server. what i mean is, day 1 starts with the game as we knew it in late 97/early 98. then following the patch notes, and all our other documented resources on era accuracy, we create a prog...
