Re: Oldest Known Trophies
I was actually looking at some trophies on the porch of a Large Tower just NE of the Yew moongate yesterday. There were a few trophies dated early January 2008.

Re: First Encounter with a Murderer
This just illustrates my hunting skills! I have figured out it ends up costing more to hunt in 1 location due to murders. I hunt in multiple locations, never staying in 1 location beyond the first or second spawn. This limits the time exposed at any given point.

I'm not sure how much to bid on this, I think you may have mistakenly posted this in the trading forum, not the tales of adventures!

First Encounter with a Murderer
Well, after about 2 months of cautious hunting, usually sheep and ettins, I have moved up to dungeons. I have yet to see any murderers with red traits, that was until last night. I was hunting and enjoying my music, when all of a sudden, a murdered appeared in the corner of my screen out of nowhere....

Re: Missing something? [smithing platemail]
The plate chest piece has a very small chance to make exceptional, like 5%. Making 1 out of 20 exceptional would not be out of this world. Plate legs are 20%ish chance, so 1 of 5 should be exceptional.

Re: Anyone use a wireless keyboard?
Oh I completely agree, I have 1 of the 2000 and 1 of the first 3000 model. At work they got me a 3000 at my request and it was this new design which sucked. I found the wired 2000 model available at Walmart on special order. See ebay for further help: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trksid=p3872.m57...

I remember little about GL and didn't join many guilds, but I do remember a female thief named Muse that roamed Bucs Den.

I use this, Microsoft Comfort Curve 2000 V1.0, which is wired. I have a wireless one that is identical with a mouse.

Re: Gating Multiple Players
Robbb is 100000% right on this. I totally remember this, and I remember it well. There was nothing more annoying then when my slow brother would walk through a gate first and take forever to move. I thought they did fix this problem in 1999, but it appears it was still there, thats crazy. Just in t...

The thing about UO is this, riches does not equal greatness. UO is skill based, not riches.
Riches ≠ Good at PVP
Riches ≠ Good at PVP

Re: Congratulation on five years, is it time for Siege Peril
I absolutely loved Siege rule set! I started a character, roamed for regs on the ground and work magery to 70, then several times a day I would log on, cast ebolt and log out. I did this for a few months, then had GM mage, med and eval. This enabled me to play more easily. Then I soon learned of thi...
