Also, as long as your gold piles are not in a container in your bank they do not count against the 125 item count. If you put them into a container each gold pile will count as 1 item.

Really bummed I had to miss this event. Mammoth's idea sounds great! There are lots of variations that could be dreamed up. You could have an NPC (Lord British!?) in town that the blues had to defend. Or better yet escort to another town. Or some item that had to be recovered CTF style by the reds ...
