Depends. Somebody could find these unlocked anvils/forges just like you and drag-drop it to their boat; some people had irl friends working at origin staff - they could oblige.

Staff just didn't lock it down during another redecoration (i.e. didn't run specific command on this item)

If it was plausible on OSI as of Nov 1999, it surely is plausible here. If it's not, raise a concern on Era accuracy forum.

EDIT: To add, I think this shard is trying to recreate mechanics, not experience. There would be no real "accurate" way of doing this, I have played a few shards with the horse lag and it generally feels broken as hell and leads to major headaches... Not everyone should have the exact sam...

I voted yes. I liked the way he played the game (I would never ever give up the privilege to play on this fantastic shard, seeing him ready to do this must say something). Although, as GK stated, this isn't how this thing should roll. The staff we have now is quite obscured and acts like staff on OS...

Probably because by that time they patched that server-side. Or different shard where there were no such sign ever.

This post is from 1998, when it may very well have been possible to place a house right on the temple itself possibly? I'm not sure you could ever place a house on a pavement/marbles, at least under normal circumstances. The sign and the rule applies to the whole island, I would say. We investigate...
