Re: Loosing Player Base Due to Constant Changes?

I played on the TC last night and the change really isn't noticeable on foot, basically all the fatigue change will ultimately do is speed up the progression of those fights that span half of Brittania due to people running away on their horses. If it's era accurate you should be able to dismount, ...

Re: How to avoid pet grief-killers

Some ass named Sir PimpsALot, who's a blue, came up to me the other day and did the ol' "Run into any PKs here?" and while I was responding, popped up a gate and attacked my dragon so it would go through and follow him. So I went in, got my dragon back, and gated both my dragons back to t...

Re: Pking and Good Manners

In the heat of battle I fully support being a heartless jackal, but leaving someone dead and stranded is a quick way to drive off the hand that feeds you. Plus tossing a res and a gate shows you have class and humbleness even in victory I usually tried to give other folks a rez, or a gate out if I ...

Re: Join the Farmer strike.

If you can't get people together to fight a common enemy then get them together to stop money even going into the system. In the early days of Siege Perilous the gold faucets were in the dungeons, and a couple of PK guilds and their allies controlled both of them. The blues got fed up about it, but...

Re: Join the Farmer strike.

The whole PK, Anti-PK thing is kind of bogus especially on a shard where you may very well end up protecting or fighting alongside PK's on their blue alts. Resources are things that can be taken and controlled in the game, unfortunately they're far easier to attack then to defend, but it's not grief...

Re: mini-heal/interupt patch kill 1v1 tank mage pvp??

You don't need razor for mini heal to be effective. It sure helps. Razor (or a UOA macro) basically allows you to spam mini heal while still keeping your hand on the mouse and moving around. With a low latency connection, it can appear like the person never actually stops and casts. But that brings...

Re: mini-heal/interupt patch kill 1v1 tank mage pvp??

My Prima guide has Heal as Magery/10+(1-6). It also has Greater Heal as 4*Magery/10 This was published in 1997 before the release of the game based on information supplied by Origin. It would be odd for the T2A demo to continue to use those exact same numbers, unless they were still in use. I also h...

Q

Nothing especially insightful or useful here. except the fact that is was written 10 years ago and is still true, even though the population changed and or aged. Really? I don't think much of it is true at all, then or now. First of all the guy starts out by saying there's a solution for every prob...

Re: Let's play the UO Era-Accuracy "I remember" game!

I remember using a program that didn't let me last target ebolt people off-screen, nor did it double my run speed. I also remember Corwin of Amber from LS/SP and he was one of the worst pvp'rs ever. I remember corwin trying to pk Skara brae rangers with his friends Susie redrum, account blocked, an...

Re: Let's play the UO Era-Accuracy "I remember" game!

Dang sounds like I played on the wrong server. I remember the exact opposite on Atlantic Town fighting was very popular on LS too. Of course there were plenty of "townies" who primarily fought in town and rarely dared to step outside, and then there was a subset of those who would leave t...

Oh I incorrectly said magic arrow in my post, it was actually reactive armor and it went on well past Beta.

Re: Let's play the UO Era-Accuracy "I remember" game!

I remember dying, then recalling rapidly twice in succession and getting all my stuff back. I remember folks building piles of boxes like a staircase and using them to break in to the roof of houses. I remember casting reactive armor on a blade spirit and it then instant killing dragons. I remember ...
