from the home page i went to the Downloads section and d/l'd 1st-Ultima Online™: Mondain’s Legacy 2nd-then Razor (recieved the error on this step) 3rd-Redownloaded the Razor client from main razorsite and installed it manually. that all got UO working, which leads me to my next problem... the issue ...

yeah got it working, but since i have 3 accts on my pc my roomate cant play on his laptop anyways
