Re: Another Taming Inaccuracy..

I remember having a drake as a warrior very early on in T2A. It did not last long though, the taming difficulty / transfer patch killed it. I couldn't control it and lost it within minutes. Most of T2A was under that difficulty / transfer rulest as I remember.

Re: Ebay like forums

Also, you would get whole guilds rating enemies down, it would just be a major mess and cause further problems. Agrees. Grudges and vendettas against a player or an entire guilld could ruin what would probably be good persons to trade with. There are enough game mechanics in game to limit how bad o...

Re: Colored Armor and Shields; era specific

I don't beleive it does, and if it does it is wrong. Added benefits to armor and such by metal type was well after T2A. All I remember it for in T2A was for the peeps sitting by the bank wearing verite/valorite armor and looking l33t.

Re: Polar Bear Mask

Unless there were one or two from when the server was first up a year ago, I do not know of any that exist. They are not a t2a item, so I doubt they ever will. With that, I must have left OSI long before a polar bear mask (never heard of it), but it would have been pretty cool.

Axe is correct. If it is for training provoke, I am not sure they have better durability either, bit I do not know for sure.

Re: The effect of server rares on economy

I think you are correct if the rares begin to become part of the currency. That is a big if though. It is hard to see that the rares become wildly popular and people stop trading high gold items (ie houses) unless a stack of rares are involved.

Re: The effect of server rares on economy

Seconds Faust. While rares aren't a gold sink, they do little to add to the economy in any other way than to create P2P interaction. Fausts example of more hunting to generate more gold would be little different than someone wanting a house (only a house takes gold out of the economy if the deed is ...

It has been noticeable and mostly positive. Thank you.

Re: Money issues

Selling ingots is great, but selling made wares to vendors is also another way. The Gold is not as great as selling to players, but youll gain in say smithing. Also break it up by starting a provoker.

Re: R.I.P. Thieving (TERRIBLE change) Warning to 56k users

Remember accuracy... Umm on OSI you couldn't "macro" Carto past 99.5, after that point you had to decode treasure maps (so yes you could prebuy a ton of treasure maps and macro it then and you can do that here too) I believe lockpicking was the same (except 95.4 and not 99.5) - but I'm no...

But one can only macro lockpick and Carto to a certain point in the name of protecting the economy. Where does accuracies waters edge lie?

Re: Earthquake spell.

I remember it being a % damage spell and as such the laws of diminishing returns would kick in. As a target was more damaged, the less damage another EQ would do. I remember when house killing in T2A we would EQ a couple of times then go to CL or MS to finish. I don't recall EQ ever finishing the job.

Re: Leather Armor

Wasn't it correct that any metal attire, including jewelry destroyed regen rate? For some reason I remember never wearing jewelry for this reason. I do remember leather slowing down regen, but I definately do not remember it well enough to comment on the accuracy of this shard.
