Unless it's changed, the skill just needed to be in the ^ position in order to gain a stat point from it. I used to alter my stats on my 7x on a whim just by locking every skill and putting the one I want to use going up.

I remember farming them for baskets (or some other semi rare) in some section on Wind. You would go through some teleportal and be in this big cave room with a lake in the middle and a Kraken!

I agree, I think personal touches on rares, silver reward system, etc, were all something that the EA developers were striving for themselves. Every shard had its own set of rares, and different things, so its not going against era accurate to switch things up a bit because we have such a small comm...

There used to be a trick where you would teach someone how to "dupe" something, but it was just an elaborate series of steps that got the item stuck on their cursor before you told them to relog. Whatever they were trying to dupe would fall on the floor, I made millions that way
