Re: Plague strikes Britainnian stables!

We have not and will not delete any player pets intentionally. Some player pets were lost unintentionally due to the unexpected death of some stablemaster shortly after the patch, as described in bug reports and the patch note updates. The natural attrition of player pets has been occurring since t...

Re: Plague strikes Britainnian stables!

Unfortunately, this drastic effect did nothing to alleviate the "stables are full" problem. A week after all stabled pets are killed off, stables are once again full, meaning this is really griefers at work taking up all the stable slots with bunnies. This did nothing but kill off a few ol...

Re: Reducing lag and ping with UOSA (And other Online Game)

I recently changed ISPs and ever since I've been on AT&T Uverse I've had horrible lag in game. Whenever I move I'm running in place, and then all of a sudden I'll appear about 20 steps ahead in one big jump. It's been pretty much unplayable and can die to the weakest of mobs. The connection spee...

Re: Housing changes?

Ah ok, I don't think I've ever consciously done that before but must have. Not sure I ever remember that in original UO either, but thanks for the info, will be sure to do so from now on.

Thanks.

Housing changes?

Possibly I missed an update, but all my houses now say "This house is condemned and somewhat worn" when a friend refreshes them. Was there a change (out of era) where the owners only can now refresh houses?

Oh, you're right! I knew it was an 'i' at the end though! hehe. And yes, she'll be missed, she was beefy.

Bambi, Skara Brae Stabler, Gone Again

She was made invulnerable and geared up after the orc invasion, but she's nowhere to be found again. I've been running all over SB in case she wandered off, but she's gone again. Edit: A different stabler just popped up, Rider. He's not as beefy as Brandi was, but at least we can get pets in and out...

Re: Skara Brae stabled pets and the Urk invasion

Bambi is also flagged as invulnerable now, so I doubt the invasion will ever be a problem now.

Re: Skara Brae stabled pets and the Urk invasion

Thanks for the heads up, Derrick, I was getting tired of logging in constantly to check for a stabler. My pets were still there (7 days was up Saturday evening sometime). But there's room in the stable, which is unusual, so possibly some people have lost pets. But log in and refresh them as soon as ...

Re: Skara Brae stabled pets and the Urk invasion

I'm curious to know what's up with the Skara Brae stable also. Does this mean all pets are lost if their week was up during the invasion? Or will the timer be off for that period hopefully?

Possibly if you tell him the exact email addy you had then, that might be enough as proof that it's your account also.

Re: Cartography help pls

What I did was prebuy about 1000 maps to get started, and then used a character from another account to keep buying maps. Even if my cartography character wasn't ready for them, I'd still keep buying up the maps and stashed bags of them in my house to keep the vendor doubling up the maps for sale an...

Re: 2 Questions relating to taming and alchemy

I tamed my first dragon at 94.4, yes, I was impatient too. It did take awhile but nowhere near as long as I expected it to. It was a time when taming increases were painfully slow, so I was thrilled to have gained .2 off the dragon as well.

Re: Where the Artic Ogre Lord?

This info comes from UO Stratics as linked. Perhaps you misread something that referred to the location as being T2A, but it still wasn't placed in Ice Dungeon in T2A until the middle of 2000, which was Renaissance expansion.

Re: "I am sorry, my stables are full"

You just need to go to another stable and try there. As already said, it's a limit per stable, not per character, and it is era accurate.
