Can you buy gold on this server? or houses for cash??

Im pretty sure there is no cash for game items on this shard and there is a post by Derrick about it in the UO discussion thread.

As above. The only thing you can spend real money on here is one of those little stacks of gold under your forum name.

It's pretty easy to get gold ingame though, and with skill macroing you can be up and running pretty quickly for most character types.
