Question about reputation

I've had my first few transactions this week and want to give the thumb's up to the buyers. When I click on the thumb's up (increase reputation) icon, my screen just goes black. How do I post a brief comment (e.g. good buyer, the transaction went smooth, will do business with him again, etc.) Am I missing something? Thanks.

Are you using any type of browser "flashblock, noscript" addon? Usually, if you had those on, it stops you.

I've experienced this as well. The way I've gotten around it has been to hold CTRL and click the "thumbs up" icon. This will bring up the rep window in a new tab, but it works. That's the only way I've found to get around it without digging deeper into the problem.
