Secondage is the only shard thats population is increasing.

From what I have seen on other shards:

UOG:Hybrid went from 1200 or so to 700 to 900

UOG:Div went from 300 or so to about 60

DFI:UOR went from 700 at peak to 150-250. 119 being the lowest recorded level.

UOSECONDAGE Went from about 200 last year to 600 this year.


Im starting to think without secondage Ultima may well have died off.

I usually see the numbers in lower 500 high 400's here.

All thoughs shards you mentioned boomd to their first year.

I dont think its people getting bored so much as its the staff generally ruining the shards over time.

No, that is very unlikely. This has already been attempted numerous times and they are incapable of fixing the shard. Nobody cares for a hybrid/inaccurate version of the t2a era and they don't know how to run an accurate version at all. No shard is going to take UOSA's reign, and you can bet my decade's year experience with these shards on that statement.

People that had the keys to the shard never did anything, not even a glance.. Was fun, great pvp, alot of people are interested in that innaccurate/t2a server. but no one that cared could do anything about it and the ones that could do something didnt care about it. Now they do, but for how long? I doubt it will recover.

Doubt we could even discuss this subject in this forum. So... Thats all folks..

There will always be some people who want custom action. I had a real life friend who wouldnt come to play here with me because he was already on a shard that let you set skills like a test center, had no skill cap, and all those goofy special moves like stun punch and bushido. He wanted to have a character GM in all skills, Stealth teleporting around dungeons with blessed weapons. Most people want to play the game as they remebered it in the t2a era and here we are. That other shard suckerd 1000 people into playing saying t2a then it turned into a gank fest with the 60 or so players that are still there L337Pvpeaing the other 940 people off the shard.

Ryan is fat and he is a horrible admin. UOGamers is complete trash, top to bottom. We all should be grateful for Derrick and UOSA. Even though Faust is ruining everyone's experiences, with his tired, unintuitive mind. UOSA-Faust=best player run shard ever.

The shard would collapse even if it weren't for those proposed systems. There is a reason that shard dwindled from a 1.5k client count to a measily 100-200 average before Azaroth finally decided to shut it down. We all know that he claimed that he shut it down for other reasons besides population but that was one of the main reasons including the loss of interest on his part. It only took a year for him to lose interest the last time and there is no reason to believe it won't happen again. The shard will fizzle out in a matter of time.

I'm new, so can someone explain? Is Faust saying UOSA will fizzle with time, or that UOGamers will? And if he's saying UOGamers will fizzle with time, why are people saying UOSA-Faust=Awesome? I don't understand how the guy saying "No shard will take UOSA's reign" would be boo'd on the UOSA forums lol.
