UO Second Age

I played a thief on Catskills named Loki.. Never until free servers did I try any other template.

Sauron here. Played Cats from 97 until the untimely demise of UO known as the Renaissance. I was in CCC for a bit, hung out with PKT, XH, etc. mostly around the Yew moongate. Neon blue hair before it was cool...hipster style. Perma red before it was mechanically possible. This is my first shot at an emulator, here goes nothin'.

I miss factions man, the shear chaos of a raid was fun. That was about all UO:R had for me and then shit got boring. Glad this shard exists. T2A/Pre UO:R was awesome. I met Malice at Balrons like 10+ years ago.. that's crazy!

CAnt believe Im seeing all these familliar names, brings a tear to my eye.
I quit before factions came out, and really didnt play much after Trammel.
But, I just saw, in an early page, Fede mentioned NeoBahamut and Salvatore. Salvatore was probably my best UO friend in game. Me and that guy hung out every day, does anyone know if he plays here?
I started in 1997, as a newbie named KOrN (I was 13 bare with me), and then started getting into pvp with my tank Mage Mario. I then got banned, and came back with Menkaure, which is who I won a decent amount of player held tournaments on.

I remember fighting them back in like 1998. They had to of been the first guild to ever use voice communication. If you saw a cop, they always called for backup, and would have 3 more guys there in a matter of seconds, UO used to be a lot more fun without voice communication

Also, Loki, I do remember you. Quite well actually. You stole a power katana off me one day. I still remember thinking to myself "No one was near me, I must have misplaced it somewhere!"

FYI Mighty Mo and Uzziah were playing UO Revelation (UOG t2a style server with custom map) but they dropped off after the server died. There was (still is?) a big group of Catskills guys playing on UOF if you want any contact info I might have skypes or something.

I don't think its even debatable malice, you are 100% right. Catskills had the best pvpers, both fielders and duelers.
On the OSI Abyss shard Catskills guys just wrecked the top pvpers from other servers. On siege p, same thing, Catskills crews raped other servers guilds. If you played on Catskills you were all about the pvp(usually).
