How Do I know if a weapon is vanquishing?

Vanquishing weapons add +7 to damage? How am i certain the weapon I have is vanq? I bought it off a vendor, and it said vanq, but in my hand, it just says magic spear and my tactics go up 10 percent, i have another spear that was labeled +20 force. which gives me 20 percent add to tactics, but the plus 10 percent spear said vanquishing...how can i be certain of this?

Use the item ID skill or an ID wand/staff to identify the weapon's properties.

You can also use the item ID skill on weps while they're still at the vendor, thus reducing the probability of being scammed.
