Treasure Map help

Decided to do one of my lvl 1's since I was bored. Came across this map..and I thought I knew which spot it was. I have 0 mining, but I swear I mined every inch of the NW section of Valor Island. I tried the 3 coords and treasure maps spots that I thought could be the only possible ones, and tried 2 different runes as well. Too no avail I still have not found it. Now..I understand it's just a lvl 1 and its not worth this time..but being the stubborn person I am I refuse to give it up. Maybe some of my reasoning is off and learning where this actually is may help me in the future with other spots.



Thats my treasure map. My first thought is that it is 170 due to how far north it is compared to the shrine picture..but then it looks too far east slightly. I have tried 168 and 169 as well. And like I said...I walked all over the NW section of the island and had a macro repeating that targeted my map and slightly under my feet.

So any help with what number this REALLY is...and if there is any advice to finding others in the future (I have done a few tmaps..but thats part of my uo history I neglected). I know mining will help...but to me thats kind of pointless once its dug up and I'd rather have stealth/eval/med (currently I have stealth but will drop it for eval or med once I get my LP to 100.

The number is 170. Some of them are tricky... I've had the coordinates dead on and due to a grade in the terrain had to target a tile or two off center.

Every time I get a map with that spot I throw it away cuz I've never been able to find it. :/

I've done some tmaps before, and if you read what I wrote, I said I targeted the map and then the ground.

Thanks for the tips. i finally found it using targeting the map twice. However, I was a full degree east of the coords stratics said...but I got it so thank you so much!

Did you mark a rune? I'd like to add that to my t-map rune library.

Yes I did mark it. lol..I had to for how long it took me to find it.

I'm not sure if this has been resolved, but I had the same map a week or so ago and had a similar issue. It is a bit off from the Stratics Map Archive. I eventually made a macro:

Use item (shovel)
Wait for target
Target type (map)
Wait for target
Target RelLocation (1,0)

Put that on loop and walked step by step until I started digging up treasure.

Wish I remembered the coords for it, now that I see it is the same one I had trouble with.
