What a lovely suprise event, thank you all for hanging around in such a congested area on your pure mares. And thanks, Dick.

Why was not the Franz informed!? This is outrageous! I'm ashamed of myself that I was absent and missed out on providing the King himself with my offering of praise and also some valuable token.
Lankgord: Hello. I'm New To The Server. Any Drama Going On Lately?

[20:38] <newYorK>i love how franz is in game robbing me while im reading his comic

Wow.

I can't believe I missed him either, I've been down with the flu.
Thanks for everyone's hospitality!

You must be proud man, your creation actually got the guy who created the original to come on the game and say hello. Thats a hell of an accomplishment. We all thank you my friend.

Also, Richard Garriott said that you should bring events back. I think we should honor his wishes since technically.....well.... hes Lord British.

Burglar Attack: "In 1997 the house was broken into by a deranged fan. Garriott held him off with an Uzi, firing a warning shot while waiting for police to arrive."

I hope no player was dumb enough to attempt to burglarize Lord Brit's backpack.

What really happened:

In 1997, the house was broken into by a deranged fan. Garriott held him off by chanting "Vas Ort Flam" and "Kal Vas Flam", and throwing bottles of POM Pomegranate Juice while waiting for police to arrive.

I'm not easily impressed by stuff, however, The MAN Richard Garriot making an appearance in a game that he created with an entire genre that he founded over a decade later when there are hundreds of servers - this guy visits our community to pay homage to US for keeping it alive - speechless!

Hopefully we'll get some of the screenshots up on the front page of our website - couldn't ask for better publicity.

Does anyone have any ties to any "gamer blogs"? Maybe do a write up of the story with some links to UOSA????

I just want to point out that I lived a childhood dream in that moment. I got to virtually hug the creator of such a great series. Hate all you want, my life is complete <3

I haven't played UO in a good long while but as one of the original UOSA players I just had to return here to say WOWWWWW. Congrats Derrick, that's quite an incredible thing to have achieved. I'm happy for you brother and hope all is well with everyone.
