townkilling with gate and Greater XP pots

This doesn't seem like it would work, well at least not if you have to step back into town after you've thrown a few (at an AFK toon in this case) once you step back into town after throwing a couple, without killing the person, and he's macroing guards, won't you get guardwhacked?

Guards can only be called on you within 20~ seconds of committing a crime. So toss pots, go in gate, wait 20ish sec for the "Guards can no longer be called on you" msg and repeat.

It's done, committed my first intentional murder hehe, some newb macroing guards thinking it would protect him!

That's right, basically whenever you commit a criminal action you have a period where guards can be called on you (20-30 seconds), and a period where you are "grey" and freely attackable by anyone (This is two minutes from your last criminal action).

The rules for getting guard whacked are a little tricky, but basically the person who calls guard on you has to have seen the crime being committed. A simplified application is that this allows you to commit a criminal action outside of town, then recall to town and guards cant be called on you.
