What are the best monsters to fight in order to quickly achieve "Glorious Lord" status? Let's say if I am trying to from "Famous" or "Illustrious" for example.

Lich Lords are good clean fun.

Daemons are pretty fast; Elder Gazers should get you there, too.

If you have a Tamer the easiest way is to take a couple dragons to LL.

If your character is not a tamer but you have a tamer on another account, you can still use dragons to increase your fame. I can explain it if you're interested.

I use to retame dragons with my pk and then hate them into eg. can’t control them but you don’t really have to and the owner of the dragons takes the fame and karma.

I don't think my tamer can tame dragons yet. I think he's almost to Hell Hounds. I got bored and stopped taming for a while...
