Events Question

Are all of the events on foot? I want to participate more, but I don't want to end up losing my mount when going to an event. I seem to remember losing a frenzied once when going to bagball.

They are on foot.

Bagball is the only one where your mount isn't in a safe zone. Mounts can go wild at the other events and be tamed by someone else. If you keep it fed you shouldn't lose any mounts at the other events.
