Runebooks.

Hey everyone.
Brand new player here with a question.
I always thought runebooks were "blessed", but apparently not. Got slaughtered while macroing in town and no runebooks are to be found.
Was it always like that?

Unfortunately yes.
And they can be stolen too, so if you're going to be AFK in town be sure to have your runebook equipped.

No problem.
If you need another rune book, I'll be in game later this even or else there are a bunch of vendor houses near the Yew moongate too.

Did this change? If I remember correctly if you use stealing skill and target a runebook directly you cannot steal it. Although If it's in a bag, you can steal the bag and get it that way. I've also heard that if you randomly steal from a player you can steal runebook but i've never successfully gotten one.

If it's in your bag and they randomly steal from it is how I remember too. It only happened to me once...
