New to the shard

A very good morning to you all!
Played T2A to sometime after LBR, 98ish to 05/06 maybe, and I surely did miss it. Found this shard on a facebook post from an old friend of mine who I used to gang around with back in the day on the Baja shard. Popping back on brought some old memories back...
Im going to give it another go, here on this shard and see if the spark comes back.

I have bebopped around the boards here for the last couple days, see a handful of new posts, and a bunch of older stuff. Few questions that pop into my head as I sit here guzzling coffee...
How is the community?
Is PKing and griefing rampant?
How is the current availability of house plots?
How is the economy?
Any good player run vendors I should check out?
Any unique places I should visit?
Im sure there are bound to be more... Just a few right off the top of my head.
