Guys, here's some suggestions:

Take off the screenshots like this http://photos-f.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-ak- ... 5_9574.jpg

That doesn't look era accurate, someone needs to update their UO because skara doesn't have snow...

Also, take off the sceenshots with "icons" littered all over the playing space.

Let's make these look neater, we also want new players too not just veterans who understand that UO doesn't look the greatest.

Also, change the main picture...it has a guy speaking in CAPS and there is the UO:Renaissance targeting thing. Make sure no screenshots have that crap.

Otherwise, great work = )

Yeah. No posted pics with snow OR tree hack.

Another great way to promote this site is to start a blog with your (mis-)adventures.
Something along the lines of Galad and the LuTers may attract old school players.

Add a twitter account to that, and you could well get a following.

I might start a combination myself once I've got my evil minions skilled up for some shenanigans.

^ Yea, I agree. I remember reading those stories and they just made me want to play UO. Some new stories could do the same for old players, if we could some how advertise in places where they might visit or something.....

Why don't we link the "Pic Of The Day" from the front page to the Facebook page? By link I mean "someone go and upload it in the Facebook group". This way there is a constant stream of actual ingame screenshots. Maybe there's a fancy way for linking the two directly, but not really worth the hassle for one screenshot a day.

nice, there should be a way to integrate RSS feeds into pages/groups, loads of people could use that. will look around for it.

EDIT: seems like RSS feeds can only be added to pages, but what we have is a group.

here's a massive thread of people who want to do the same thing:

EDIT2: here's an application that (i think) allows you to route an RSS thread to your group wall.

Neat.

If anyone can figure out how to get this to work (I don't do facebook or myspace at all), here's a list of all our feeds:

Yeah, it was actually reading Galad's old comics that made me want to get back into UO in the first place. UOSA is well advertised, I was aware of this shard pretty much since it came up, despite not playing UO since 2005. When I decided to start playing again in Feb, it was a no brainer to pick UOSA.

The facebook page needs to be a fan page instead of a group.

If anyone else submits articles on other sites such as reddit and StumbleUpon don't hesitate to post it on here so we can all bump it :)
I stumbled upon this shard, been here about 10 days now and loving it. Keep up the good work guys :)
