For tonight's Trial event

There will be an NPC named Jackson in the hallway near the courtroom’s door. He will have a quest for tonight’s trial. The quest must be completed within 2 hours to qualify. There are three scrolls, so that means you could win up to three prizes by participating.

Note: You can technically complete these scrolls anywhere in Britannia, but you’ll be missing out on a unique event, and the quest requirements will be spawning rapidly.

The “Jury” at the trial are a collected group of citizens. We have a blacksmith, a minter, a mage, and alchemist and a healer.

I can assure you the Jury will not be present for the entire length of the event.

Brigands, orcs, evil mages, and other criminals will arrive at the courthouse in waves and must be stopped. This game is lightly based on “Tower Defense” but it is still UO, and you can expect creature AI to be sub-par

Mateo will be seated in the front of the courtroom. All mercenaries are expected to remain in the gallery. Do not let the bandits slay the the Judge, Mateo, or the prosecutor. The trial might take as long as one hour to complete

A Trial or a Massacre?

There was a riot at the Court of Truth last night. Here's a recap of the events from last night.

Town officials knew it was going to be a bloodbath after seeing signs of protest from the very beginning!

Moments into the trial, a murderous felon named Banks assassinated the Judge.

Image

Mateo was slain moments later by the assassin known as Lord Boldie.

Image

And then all hell broke loose....

For two long hours people defended the courthouse. There was no trial to protect, but everyone loves a good brawl from time to time!

There were three possible trophies you could have received from the event if you completed your quest(s). They are as followed:

1. Bronze surfer, Protector of Justice
2. Silver surfer, Defender of Justice
3. Gold bust, Champion of Justice

Lord British's team are weighing their options on how to handle trials for the other hooligans. They cannot risk having this happen again...

Main Adventure
The bandits swore they'd be back if anymore trials are held for Mateo's hooligans. Beat them into retreat. Groups of them have been spotted south of Yew. Check the brigand fort and orc fort.

Justice Falls

The entire region surrounding Britain and Yew are on high alert after last weekend’s events. It would appear there is no respect for the law in these lands. Even those who volunteered their time to protect the courtroom couldn’t be trusted.

Warrants have been issued for heads of the assassins known as Banks and Boldie. Both are expected to be armed and dangerous.

Mateo’s trial was a massacre and to avoid having a repeat of such an event, Lord British has decided to take the necessary steps to put an end to the problem. The rest of the hooligans will see no trial. They will simply be sentenced to death for their crimes.

The execution will happen at Justice Falls. A beheading!

Image

Main Adventure
Patrol the Justice forest. Just like the trial, this event is likely to be protested by a large angry mob of Britannia’s most vile scum!

Additional Adventure
Carefully sneak around the forts and homes of these bandit factions. There are three known groups - the Brigands, the Pirates, and the Hooligans. If they are planning something, you’ll likely find evidence with enough investigation.

Notes About this Event
This event begins on September 30th, a little after server up and will span all weekend long. There will be a guard NPC located near the Falls offering rewards for those who protect the region. The "additional adventure" content will become active sometime during the day on Sunday

For those seeking out the additional adventure. Arnie down at the old Britannia Police Department may have some leads as to where you can start looking... He's a customs officer and knows quite a bit about pirates, yar!

He'll be extra generous to the first person he meets, but he's got something for everyone!

The evil Banks seemingly duplicated himself and took up arms with the despicable brigands whom are trashing the flowery meadows north of the Justice shrine! Banks and Boldie seemed to care for nothing but blood, and they had their fun I suppose. But what fun did they have when they dropped 8 trophies and ended up dead forever without a fighting utility to their name? Silly fools! I've been asked to post their adventures and deaths all the same in this sequence of madness and betrayal to the Sosarian world via Mateo's dead eyes:
I swear it! If these villains show their face again I'll have no choice but to drown them in justice and all that is pure. Hopefully that shall be enough to thwart these cowards!

Sink the Ship

Crime is having a bad year!

Lord British has put an end to an illegal establishment in Vesper, purged the Britain forest of hooligans, and has his eyes set on the next target - pirates.

Lord British has declared that all pirates are criminals.

You can talk to Arnie at the old Britannia Police Department in East Britain. He may have leads on where you can start your adventure.

Image

The Legendary Alchemist in Britain has also been tasked with creating a solution for ridding Trinsic of the pirate threat for good.

Image

Main Adventure
Arnie has a quest for you. He wants you to slay pirates. Don't let Arnie down!

Additional Adventure
The Master Alchemist in Lord British's Mage Tower is looking for adept alchemists to help with a secret project.

The Master Alchemist almost has enough potions for their plans. You'll have until sometime on Friday to begin the quest before it'll be unavailable.

Recipe for Disaster

Alchemists across the land have come together and supplied the Master Alchemist in Britain with enough potions for their secret plans. Lord British has requested a pause on the battle in the Fens while his team executes their plan.

Put your focus on the pirates in Buccaneer's Den.

Main Adventure
Arnie in East Britain is still offering a bounty for Pirates.

Battle with the pirates at the former House of Baths. While they may not be too many of them, they are showing up on the shores of Buccaneer's Den at alarming rates. We cannot have a return of the Bath Dynasty!

Side Adventure
*Something feels off*
Search for elected officials outside of the city of Britain to see what you can learn.

I learned that if you Try to pick up a "Dwarven Hammer Replica", it'll shatter into dwarven copper, and get stuck under a freakin table until it Decays.
