What: 1v1 PvP tournament

When: 3pm on Saturday the 19th of September

Rules: All Potions. No magic items or poisoned weapons. Restricted Spells: Magic reflection, Paralyze, Field & AoE spells, Summon Spells

Location: This tournament will be at the dueling pits located at 4' 34'N 12' 5'W. There will be gates located in West Britain and Buccaneer's Den.

Fine Print: The space is standard non-guardzone with basic spell restrictions: no earthquake, no mark. The town-line is clearly marked. Attend at your own risk. Only tournament contestants currently in a match are given any protection from unofficial combat.

To sign up, simply PM me in IRC in the hours leading up or show up a the Arena 15 minutes before the event starts to pre-register with me.

I think that if all potions are allowed, spells like Reactive Armor and Protection should be allowed also.

Dexxers clearly have a huge advantage being able to use their cure pots with their opponent unable to use RA, or protection - in a small arena.

I had originally planned to make this a Red Pots tourny. I've adjusted the post to allow RA and Protection. We'll give that a whirl this weekend and see how it goes. Your argument about how dexers have a clear advantage may be true, but Mages have an advantage in red pots tournaments. Hybrids do well in both formats.

Have you seen Vin use Warlord in red pots? It's pretty beastly.

EDIT: Is paralyze allowed? Just wondering
