Youtube Video Promoting UOSA

I think a youtube video of the UOSA development team along with video testimonials playing over in-game recorded streams would put us back on the map.

We need to appeal to people emotions, new and old players will go far and wide to get those feelings we used to get when we first started here.

After all, where else could someone stroll into dungeon or player run town, slay a murderer, chop up his body and turn it in for a bounty at a local guard?

Taming dragons and having them as a companion? Really?

To us this is common stuff we are all used to, but to future members of UOSA it's unheard of.

Many here would happily chip in on advertising dollars for such a cause and a little SEO work couldn't hurt.

Just my 2cents.

Take clips from a few big streamers and put something together. I'm sure some of the reddit types would be happy to drop a link all over the place.

YouTube "SEO" 101

1. Make sure your file name is a keyword. "ultima-online-pvp.mp4" for example

2. Make sure the YouTube video name is a grammatically correct phrase involving keywords. You can go straight up keywords, but the click-through rate will be lower because it looks like garbage to the user if you spam the name with keywords.

A good name: "PvP on Second Age Ultima Online Server"
A bad name: "PVP UO ULTIMA ONLINE T2A SECOND AGE BEST SERVER FREE SHARD"

3. Include a 3-5 sentence description of the video and a link back to the website, the forums, or something relevant to the UOSA web properties.

4. If you can get your friends and family to watch the video, views overtime can influence a video's ranking ability on both YouTube searches and searches from Google that return video results.

There has to be someone capable of putting this all together, no video editors here?

Reporters? Bloggers? Youtubers?

Out of all the talent I've seen pass through this shard, there must be someone that will be an ambassador.

Here's hoping for a better UOSA future.

Watching someone engage in pvp will not entice people. Events/Adventure/Large Scale pvp event streams might.
