Certain circumstances has created the need for a guild charter and ruleset for all AoJ members.

Guild Charter:
AoJ's mission is to create a positive environment where new players to the server can have a good experience, to provide comradery and friendship amongst members, and to avenge our guildmates who would be wronged or victimized by other people on the shard. Our primary focus is to retain members to the UOSA community and create excitement to new prospects to the server. Increasing server population is good for everyone.

Rules:
1. Killing of new players will not be allowed anymore (this sheds a negative light on the guild and will not be tolerated)

2. PKing is ok if it is against opponents that can defend themselves (vets), and if done in a respectful way. PVP is an integral part of UO and without risk vs. reward this game would not be as fun. Running into peoples blade spirits or EVs is not something that will be allowed going forward. That's a cheap tactic and is of a coward. AoJ does not have cowards or will not going forward.

3. Trash talk or gloating in game or in discord is frowned upon. You can beat an opponent without rubbing it in their face. We are all adults and should act as such. Treat others as you wish to be treated, in a respectful way. That being said defending yourself is okay, but don't take it too far and make it a constant battle of words, let your skill do the talking in battle.

4. No grieving of other players which includes stalking, house camping, rez killing, etc.

5. Due to limitations on the amount of people that can be friended to guild houses, one toon per person can be friended to the house to allow all members to have access to guild storage.

6. Grey areas of question will be discussed and decision made by the elder members of the guild.

If you want to break any of these rules then, do it on a non-guilded toon that we don't know about, that way you're only creating enemies and negativity towards yourself and not the entire guild!!

***Exceptions to the rules***

A known guild enemy or anyone who is deserving and has wronged you or a member is exempt from these restrictions on all of their toons. We defend ourselves and guildmates to the fullest extent to correct the situation and avenge friends that have been wronged. If there is a question of acceptable behavior ask myself or an elder member of the guild for advice.

Disciplinary Action for breaking these rules are as follows:

First Offense - Verbal warning and discussion of the situation at hand.
2nd Offense - Member removal including alts from the Guild
Continued hostility towards guild for being upset for being kicked will result in Kill On Sight status (it should not come to this or make it past the first offense)

We have honestly never had any of these issues until recently and I am forced to put something in place due to the large amount of members we have now. AoJ can be a great place for everyone, but we have to be a beacon of light and hope in the UOSA community as to not tarnish our good name.

Any questions/concerns about these new policies please pm me or open discussion in our new "rules" section in our discord.

Thank you,

Grofus

You fall under this:
***Exceptions to the rules***

A known guild enemy is exempt from these restrictions on all of their toons. We defend ourselves and guildmates to the fullest extent to correct the situation and avenge friends that have been wronged

The real question is: am I enemy or friend? Are there certain hours of the day that I'm enemy, or certain that I'm friend? Do we approach with caution or blast like pornhub? Help me, help you!

Vega, you are not an enemy. You would fall under the vet rule as you are more than capable of defending yourself....

2. PKing is ok if it is against opponents that can defend themselves (vets), and if done in a respectful way. PVP is an integral part of UO and without risk vs. reward this game would not be as fun.
