We are currently suffering from intermittent connection problems which seem to seem to be occurring within or near the datacenter in Virginia. Will update when I know more.

It appears that your server may have been affected by a network issue that occurred this morning in our Virginia data center. At 8:07am PT, PEER 1 Hosting's DCO team was alerted to failed fan alert on one of our distribution routers. After an initial investigation, it was deemed a replacement was in order. DCO went ahead and performed a fan tray replacement, however during the swap, an human occurred and an incorrect card was removed from the router. After several network alerts to the NOC, DCO was instructed to revert all changes in efforts to recover the network. As network alerts continued, Engineers were mobilize to assist on stabilizing the network.

After a thorough investigation, Engineers were able to identify an issue with the switching fabric module within the affected router. With this result, a resolution to the issue was reloading the affected distribution router to restore network connectivity. This was done at
9:01 am PT. Once the router was back one line and redundancy was resorted, Network services were restored at 9:05am PT.
