There will be trick or treating and other festivities today.

When trick or treating in the lands of Sosaria, which may only be done outside of town, please be conscious of you safety and that of others. Tricks may be played by by more dastardly owners of private houses, such as attacking you when you approach their house. Be careful out there!

Halloween gifts and costumes are not blessed.

A generous prize for the most active trick or treater of the day has been provided by Onslaught.

Any Halloween Costumes obtained or purchased will only work on Halloween day. Yes, they will work next year too.

Please note, using a costume that makes you appear as a monster will make you attackable (grey). It's not a criminal act, but you can be attacked freely while wearing them, just as if you had polymorphed.

I was in the lead after halloween day was over, but i think there is something wrong with the event so im logging out for now but i have the screenies if need be.

It would seem that Halloween, in UO-world, continued on until server down.

The Trick of Treat contest ran for a full 24 hours, from shard up on Friday to shard restart on Sat morning. Although this wasn't specifically stated, I did answer questions on that yesterday via IRC and pages, sorry if there was any confusion.

It was a much more highly contested competition than I ever would have imagined.

Onslaught has donated his Guillotine to be awarded to the winner of this competition
The winner is Leeland, with 584 house visits (surprisingly, still less than the total number of houses on the shard).
Second goes to Ezekial Rage
Third is Richard Noggin

Second and third place will receive a skull pole house add-on.
The remaining 7 in the top ten will receive Jack-O-Lanterns
