I just want to say the OP's suggestion is the most godawful proposal imaginable. I resent the idea that someone is going to tell me how to play and try to pigeonhole RP in two distinct groups. Everything about it is, to my mind, the very antithesis of what roleplaying is even about. Quite honestly I find it repugnant.
