New Cartography-skill HAX!

If you stand on the right spot in the "Star" room, and use cartography on multiple boxes of blank maps, each containing 1 Devious map (valued at 9-12k) you can cheat the skill system. Apparently the game registers it as using a devious map each time you use a blank in the same box, and the star room lets you pick up 5 different areas when you make a world map!! Increasing your gains by 5 times!!



And so our brave travelers headed off in search of massive skill gains...


We arrived at our destination, and I instructed on the proper technique.


Alas, we were short on materials, a quick trip to the bank and we
were back on our feet..


With all of the required tools, we proceed to gain mad carto-skill points.


And that is how it's done, which reminds me. I have 3 Devious maps on my
vendor that are for sale.

From 0x8c to whatever the size of cc is in bytes gets set to all zeros. Effectively, its clearing the the memory. Then they are setting cc.cmd to whatever PCK_Create is.

Those two lines of code are fairly useless without knowing more.

What im curious about is...are level 5 maps really worth 10k? That sounds rather high.

thats what i've seen em go for. not sure nowadays, but theres 5k and a LOT of items in em. If i do one by myself, i usually gotta make 2 trips to the chest

10k is rather low. You can sell lvl 5's for 15k all day.
