This is an attempt tp help the trade community avoid known scammers.
If you have been taken advantage of by using IRC or forums contact Blackfoot. Explain the situation and all parties involved. An investigation will take place to determine the ligitimacy of your claim. If it is determined to have been a scam through these boards or irc their name will be listed for everyones protection.
I would like to remind everyone that policy on in game scamming is different that forum/irc scamming. This is about irc/forum scamming which is enforcable.
edit: also if you have know of any scams currently taking place that the public should be aware of contact blackfoot and it will be added to this list

I'm not sure if these guys are on really anymore, but Altay and Squeak were selling full(blank) spellbooks using irc at one point in time.

Everyone please be aware when buying from in game player run vendors -
You need to ID the magic weapon before you buy it
The player running the vendor can name the weapon anything they like
Protect yourself and ID items before you buy them

Don't forget to use arms lore as well to tell whether the item has been used or not.

Using the trade forum boards to draw out items into vulnerable positions with no intention of buying the items is a scam any way you look at it.
This will no longer be tolerated.
If you want to draw items out into vulnerable positions do not use these boards to do so.
If you do so you are voluntarily forfeiting your trade forum privileges.

Joshua Lee, is a scammer. As much as I don't like Felix/R-/Rj/whatever you want to call him, Joshua Lee SCAMMED him. Whatever the reason, or intention, it was a SCAM, and I call for an immediate blacklist of this little bipolar girl, whatever gender he/she/it is.

This is a thread for IRC/Forum Scammers. Scamming in game is within the rules and falls under the buyer beware category. Using IRC or forums to scam is against the rules which is why this thread is why this thread was created, and it's best to let it serve its purpose.
If you want to start a topic about in game scammers go for it, but this isn't the right place for it.

While true, this post is still mainly about warning people and protecting them. Listing players who scam in game alone is still to the benefit of the trading players of UOSA.
