Selling GM resist on one day's gain
For 100k
I have 3 chars that need gm magery, no use for resist on any of my chars. Will cast on you for 100k. You must have at least 50 resist, and all you have to do is stand there and make your character public. No dealing with healing or npc mages.
Will start at server up, should take about 12h?

Re: Selling GM resist on one day's gain
Already done, sorry!
Gmed 3 chars magery and one dude's resist. Took like 24h because I had con problems. Probably can do it in 18-20h if you do it correct.
Cost a bit over 100k.

Resist used to be easy 2 years ago. Then they patched it and killed resist sessions.

Re: Selling GM resist on one day's gain
You can probably still do it in 1-2 days

Pirul,
It's obvious that Pjaiang, whatever, is looking to GM resist,
What's the method he should use these days? about a year ago I GM'd resist a pretty basic way, Lightning till 63ish, ebolt till 80ish??, FS till GM, I can't remember. But I had a character bandage, a character cast on himself.
No rocket science, just a bunch of regeants and days of macroing.

Pretty much the answer now. And yes, uncle Felix, still can be done in about 2 days of constant macroing.
People have also used WW's to GM their resist, but hoarding 40 WW's hardly qualifies as easy, as is getting 12k of each FS reg.
2 years ago, people would host resist sessions, where a group of mages would cast Meteor Swarm on a group of resist gainers, which in turn had a group of healers healing them. That method would raise the gainer's resist quite fast. Many people GMed overnight using that method, and since the number of casters/gainers was considerable, the cost of doing it was much less. People like Roadkill would ask for 700 or 1k of each MS reg, and when they pooled the regs from the 15 - 20 (sometimes more) people that wanted to gain resist, they ended up with a considerable number of regs to burn through, thus making such sessions a success. After they included the patch that requires you to take damage to gain resist, these resist sessions will only take you up to the mid 80's or so, before they stop working. Gotta FS your way up after that.
