Hospital network connection

Post by inition »

At home I downloaded the client file and got Second Age up and running in minutes without thinking. At the hospital the wireless network blocks connections to external networks. Is there any way I can play UO? The client acts like the server is down.

Look up something called HTTP Tunnelling.
So long as your conscience allows you to break the rules :).

Looks like just what I need. Do you recommend one?

Ah, sorry. I don't really delve into the underworld of applications :-).
I used one in college to visit facebook or any other good website to aid in my effort to procrastinate.

Perhaps give Netcat a look http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Netcat
It's probably not as user friendly as some but it would probably do what you need.

Good luck!
