Fatal crash

Whenever i click "logout" or "apply"on my paperdoll and options tab, the game says "Could not find directory /c/program files/ultimaonline etc... then it crashes and I have to restart the game again. I don't know what to do. Any ideas? I run windows XP

First thing I would check would be to see if the parent folder for you uo install is for some reason marked as read-only. After that it sounds like your reg. is pointing to the wrong location for your UO folder, which it tries to save desktop info to when you log out or apply new settings. If you can log into IRC or have ICQ I may be able to help you further. If you can not then you could always uninstall UO totally, and reinstall which should fix the reg. entries itself.
