Account Issues

Hello,

It's been a good year or 2 since I played and I'm looking to start back up. My account says that I do not have shard access and I can't seem to get in game. Is there something that needs to be done so I can continue playing with my old accounts or are the accounts deleted? I can log into this account on the web site, but not in game. I can also do serarches on my characters and see they are still in the data base.
