This is something that is very hard to determine the cause of, may of these lag reports are likely caused by different things and will be resolved differently.

I try to provide client support when I can, but it's something that's very hard to do on a large scale. It's hoped that other players who's had the same problems will post their own solutions when they see these posts.

There are a lot of tips over in the Client and Server Support forum (which is actually where this thread should be)

Another issue that often causes enourmous lag on some system is "auto-death-screenshot" in razor. If you have this on, try turning it off.

Another possible resolution to this which fixed a players problem today is setting the MTU setting in windows to 576.

Also, in client option, <ALT>O, try checking "Enable frame skipping" may help.
It's on the Eyeball tab, you have to scroll down to see it
