UO Second Age

Hello everyone,


I am still pretty new to the server so I don't know everyone or their histories. I try to stay out of any beef because I would rather play and enjoy myself than bring myself and others down.

However, I noticed that this guy Mens Rea has been kind of aggressive about being mean to people kind of often. He fills up the trash talk forums:

And this is JUST the stuff that popped out right away, on just the first two pages! Geeze!

Well, because I am a big believer in promoting a positive and friendly (or at least tolerable) server environment for us nerds to hang out on, and because I am a big believer in cosmic karma (or at least doing my part for it), I have decided to launch a little mini-event.

You see, a few hours ago Mens Rea's castle with all his rares and equipment IDOC'd because he forgot to ever use the front door.

If you can post in this thread with a link to a thread Mens Rea being mean to you (without warrant), I will donate to you a random item of my choosing from his castle, in the cause of cosmic justice. I'm not giving out anything super amazing or valuable, but there was a lot of stuff and I would rather share it with people who deserve something a little nice from Mens...and even if it's not good enough for you to want on its own value, isn't it worth owning a piece of karma?



Please note: I don't have anything against Mens and have never met him. In fact, the other gentleman at the IDOC told me that Mens was his friend/business associate and asked me to let him have to the castle spot so he can put a new castle there and offer it to Mens in case he wants his old pad back. I agreed and even led the PK that showed up on a chase when he attacked the castle-placer so that the new home could be placed. If I got anything of Men's that has purely sentimental value, I would be happy to give it back to him if he would like it, because everyone deserves a break now and then!

I found a box with a bunch of runebooks. Did he take some from you?

Oh well, Mens has definitely gone out of his way to attack many individuals on this shard. Regardless, hope all is well with him. I don't wish anyone any ill-will in real life. In game, though, its on!

Personally, i've gone toe-to-toe with Mens on numerous occasions thwarting his shenanigans...though he doesn't know it was me.

Anywho, i'd just take what you don't want and sell it off and use the money to help out others if you're trying to balance out Mens Rea's actions in-game.
