4-9-12 Patrol (Why Being AFK at Bank Is Never Safe)

I started the day doing the "Shemp's Blade" quest as a nice change of pace. After gating in Shemp at EBB the morning thief known as Arcturus runs by and makes my anti theft device go off.

While deadly poisoned he manages to run all the way past the middle bridges before entering the spirit world and desecrating Lord British's sacred ground with his stanky corpse.

After Escorting Shemp to the graveyard and claiming my reward back in Cove I approach WBB and find this horrible scene. It looks as though a pot bomber has come through. I ask the lad in yellow what happened and he tells me his music did it. He actually wanted me to believe his music was so horrible it killed everyone. A nearby NPC seems to enjoy it so his claims seem rather questionable to say the least.

While doing further investigation of the WBB crime scene a thief known as "Faceless Arya," gets a little too curious. As he puts his grubby lil fingers into my pack he sets off my anti theft device. He runs in terror and faces the same fate as most other town scum do. He dies from being too nosey.

On my way back to the bank I find out what happened earlier. It appears my hunch was right and the lad in yellow was lying the whole time. Multiple bombers synch purple pots and destroy some freshly rezzed people and other innocent bystanders. The guards make short work of these fools and kill them for their evil ways, but only after the damage has already been done. This should be a lesson to all who see this; DO NOT GO AFK AT BANKS!!!

Also, Big Fry was the killer and Bryan Jimmy James as well as Mikka looted the corpses. Most likely it was an organized hit.

Shortly afterward Faceless Arya sets off another anti theft kit. As he flees for his life I find out he is indeed perma so I finish off what the poisoned started and confiscate his contraband.

After doing quests and not finding much thieving going on but mostly bombing I decide to turn in for the day.
