The Importance of Permits (an experience with God of Greed)

After venturing the countryside, I found myself circling back to Moonglow to store the many treasures I had found. Upon recalling in, I found a fellow traveller to be standing rather close, shall we say, in my 'circle of trust':

You see: Lord God of Greed
You see: Child Support
Hicha: ~~~~what the hell back off my spot yo
Child Support: lol
Hicha: you're in my zone
Child Support: really
God of Greed: lol
Hicha: yes, these nine tiles around me are my zone
God of Greed: lol
God of Greed: and who are u?
Child Support: all stay
Hicha: you dont know me?
God of Greed: dont think so hehe
Hiche: good
Child Support: well

Hicha: this guy clearly doesnt have a permit to be here
God of Greed: tiles

You see: slate roof
Child Support: u a permit
God of Greed: i need to see urs tho
Hicha: i will have to summon my executioner
God of Greed: ut oh
Child Support: me also
Child Support: tuff guy
God of Greed: last person talking bout permits was 12
Hicha: *pulls out cellphone*

At this very moment a moongate had appeared, and a trusty executioner came through with a barrage of explosion pots! Both God of Greed and Child Support were quick about their feet, only dropping to around half their health before the executioner had been dispatched.

God of Greed: he so gay
Austin: lol
God of Greed: lets go to my house
God of Greed: Vas Rel Por [Gate Travel]
Austin: An Grav [Dispel Field]

Our new-found friends make haste to their home, and while trying to dispel their moongate to prevent any trespassers from following, I was able to quickly slip past and make my way towards their home. Ahh the jungle, but why would someone want to live in such a dreary place as this? Had they acquired the proper permits to be here? I had to investigate further.

While scouting the interior, the travelers had this interesting conversation:

Austin: so i go tto fight a couple its gonna be fun they have no clue what im bout
Austin: lol
God of Greed: lol
Austin: they
Austin: think
Austin: cause
God of Greed: just be careful bro...so many pussies that gotta use weps
Austin: i play on the comp i dont
Austin: work out b*tch
Austin: lol
God of Greed: right
God of Greed: hehe
Austin: im a beast
Austin: i got
Austin: 6 years
God of Greed: yah most ppl on here lil comp nerds and cant fight
Austin: dragon style
Austin: and mantis
Austin: im a beast
Austin: i got
Austin: 6 years
God of Greed: yah most ppl on here lil comp nerds and cant fight
Austin: dragon style
Austin: and mantis
God of Greed: i trained boxing for bout a year
Austin: i did boxin
God of Greed: its fun
Austin: i dont
Austin: count
Austin: that
God of Greed: nah not for fighting
Austin: it was all trainin

Austin: lol
God of Greed: hehe
Austin: i learned fast
God of Greed: yup my 2 olders bro lways beat my ass growing up so i wouldnt be a puss

At this point I knew I had to be very careful, one slip up and I could easily succumb to their extensive years of dragon style and mantis training. After collecting their gear, they opened a moongate to a possible treasure map location, and I knew it was time to make my move!

While I moved about the tower, I began to catalog an extensive amount of items that were not properly secured. I checked my log book, and sure as day these adventurers had not acquired a permit to have nonsecured items in their home. I called in my counterparts and we began a full sweep of the home, confiscating any items left unsecured.

As we made it to the roof, we were struck with horror and disgust: someone had left a mess of checkerboards, torches, cloth and bone helmets all over the place.

Being a neighborly fellow, I took it upon myself to clean up the mess. As they say, one should always leave an area better than when they found it.

Approximately 2210 stones worth of items were confiscated. The items of value will happily be secured until the proper permits are obtained. All other items deemed little to no value have unfortunately been discarded. Hoarding isn't a healthy lifestyle anyway.

After the tedious cleanup, I decided to sit back and relax for a bit before notifying the tenants of the actions that had occurred.

The dialogue between characters is what makes this gold.

Inspirational.

Ah, what a great pleasure to read this fascinating story! Their original insolence regarding the Moonglow Rooftop Permit showed to be a great downfall for them. Hopefully people will now learn to buy that permit before more thorough investigations commence.
