breaking chests not locked down through house walls?

Shouldn't this be fixed? I have no idea why if i have a unlocked down chest in my house that someone should be able to smash it from outside of my house.

Sorta of stupid i cant imagine its era accurate and if it is its stupid and needs to be fixed.

If you can get an EV in there, then nothing's safe. With targetting how it is, I'm not sure if you can put an EV "under" a stone foundationed house, but if possible then that explains it, and it stops being a bug.

Not really sure how its done but i know its possible ive seen it too many occasions. Getting an ev in or not it seems because the house is fully locked up not sure how to get an ev in there....
