Sorry if it's a bit big.
Three orcs starting killing the liches at the ruins, Velgamog, Hrak'Thu and I, at about 12:49 AM Eastern time. (In the image it says 10:49 because I live in Mountain Time), we saw a blue name pop up, but we didn't think anything of it when it looked like it ran by. There was currently already a blue named player in the house at the time, but I can't quite remember his name, something with every other letter a capital, DeXeR something. We weren't within a screen of the house in the image to see how the person got on top. Then suddenly we saw the magic words for Energy Vortex and we all hid, and sure enough it popped right into our area.
I was able to see enough of the house on my screen to see the door had not opened when the cast went off. Which struck me as quite suspicious. Then we decided to move on, and found this mage apparently was on top of the roof. We did not engage the mage, we quickly left. I stayed behind to get the picture.
Not sure if bug...or exploit?

So in case the link itself didn't answer it, that house has a stairway leading up to the rear right corner of the house.
It's owned by digitaldemon (aka DoomsDJ and DoomsDexer) and he went up to the top of the stairway where he could see out the top of the roof, and cast EV on you.

Correct the house does have a staircase . This house is also grandfathered. Thanks for your concern .

You can build stair cases in most small house types. The easiest small house type to work with is the plaster wall one, and the hardest is the stone wall one.
