Forum bug with time zones

I'm on the east coast of the USA, it is 12:42AM in my time zone and someone is showing their time zone as 3:43AM Sunday Morning 4/2/2017, that would be in Iceland, 3 time zones to the east, but the person with the account says they are on the west coast of the US, three time zones to the west, so shouldn't it tell me it was 9:44PM Saturday 4/1/2017? Unless they are making it up.
