I'm wondering if you can be killed in your own house, AFTER you've banned someone?

Here is the specific example I'm thinking of --- can someone cast Earthquake (or some area effect spell) and kill you while you're in your own house, and they are standing outside banned?

Thanks ahead of time - wasn't sure about this one.

There are ways to kill you casting Earthquake, Meteor Swarm, and Chain Lightning outside of your. It's no different then people running into, in front of your house and having e-bolt cast on you in the split second the door is still open.

So basically, if I'm macroing/training/crafting/whatever in my house (while visible) I can be killed regardless... bummer.

There are safety zones in houses that you cannot be targeted. Center square for smalls and I believe you cant be touching anything that is touching the walls.

Earthquake seems to be able to kill people in houses, even in the 7x7 center space which is safe from Meteor Swarm and Chain Lightning.

If you happen to find those posts... let me know. I will be very interested to see them so I know where I can "safely" stand. Specifically in a 2-story patio house.

The only way an EQ can kill you is if they time it right when you are training magery,poisoning, parry or other self imbdued damaging skill I believe.

If you have a master/grandmaster healer on hand however it is near impossible at least for a solo AFKiller to get you.

EQ can't deliver the killing blow. It can only reduce you to 1 hp. So basically just make sure ur healer has tons of bandaids

Just get a tower/keep/castle, problem solved.

I just learned the hard way that I can be killed inside my tower. Top floor and bottom floor for sure. Lord Hilik came by and cast meteor on me from OUTSIDE the tower. I was in the backroom on the first floor. I ran to the front room and he hit me again. I hid, he revealed me. I ran up to the roof, he attacked me there too, in the center of the roof. ON A TOWER'S ROOF! FROM THE GROUND!

So maybe you all know about this but it was news to me.

What is the safest house type between L shape, Brick, or Tower?

Is this an era accurate bug? It really sucks.

I think this is right, so in a small it's only the middle tile. Meteor Swarm and Chain Lightning only travel 2 tiles in.
