Key lockdown

Post by Atreyu »

I have stumbled across several houses with a keyring locked down on the front steps. I would like to do that for my house. I have tried stacking boxes, just laying it down, locking it down just inside which used to work if I remember correctly. Nothing works though... Any suggestions? It's been a while since I've played UO but I definitely remember it's not smart to walk around with your key! Any help would be great. Thanks!

Step 1: put the key in a key ring
step 2: stack 3 small tables and a book (spellbook work fine)
step 3: put they key ring ontop of the stack
step 4: lockdown key ring
step 5: remove tables and book

I've heard that placing it on a fancy shirt works as good as a book, but is easier to pick up when you're done.

anything that increases it's height by 1. (a stack of regs, a scroll, and empty bottle, a fish steak...whatever floats your boat)

Have you tried dragging and dropping it on the keyring?

Only the house owner, co-owners and friends can access the keyring.

There is some debate elsewhere about whether this is accurate, but for now at least that's how it works.

It is possible to do it inside the house, closing the inside? Using the second key.
