Run to the west of the steps and on the first tile of the first platform release the mouse and tap the numpad movement key to make you stomp walk in place.

Further Instructions: The mouse must be facing north and the numpad key movement towards west.

This will bring you to the room.

The room is not in the guard zone.

Further testing needed to know if people can see you when you are in there, if they can see speech and guard whackability when leaving XD.
