As a Bard, do I want Peacemaking, or Provocation?

I've decided that I'm going to take the advice offered to me in my last thread and devote my last 2 skills to being a Bard. Given my mage template and my fishing skill, that leaves 200 points to devote. GM Music is a given, but which would serve me better in terms of PvM and killing tough monsters like Dragons? Peacemaking, or Provocation?

If you only have 200 points then you want provocation. It's the bard's main offensive skill, especially against harder mobs.

peacemaking is not very useful on this shard. it will instantly cause everything on the screen to break agro, however it will re-acquire a target at its normal rate (eg, liches will take a few seconds to re-target you but deamons will instantly re-attack you)

Listen to Nightfishy he is a smart cookie. Honestly peace making is useless unless you purposely want to be a tool and mess peoples stuff up. For your temp. I would go with mage, med, resist, eval, wres, music, prov

Replace wres with fishing. if I don't like pulling up sunken treasure, back to wres.

Perfect for assisting the monster team at GM-run massive monster spawn events! The monsters need all the help they can get against those pesky provoking bards!

My build is coming along fairly good right now.

55.1 Resist
55.5 Magery
100 Music
100 Eval
55 Med
58 Fishing.

I have to transfer my boat soon.

Right now I'm trying to train Provoke. It's a pain, seems like someone is constantly showing up at the stables either killing my targets, or luring them to me and getting me killed while I'm afk. Is this sort of thing allowed? I kinda thought it would fall under griefing.

It does fall under griefing, which is perfectly allowed here. Take steps to prevent that from happening to you

Understood. I'll just be sure to carry nothing except newbified crap and check periodically.
