Placing winged towers

Is it still possible to place towers side by side so they can be bridged?
Is there a method you use to place them like that?

best to attempt this at the place u want to, during server wars (nothing saves) save the locations with a macro via razor and bam there u go. best bet i could think of

After an IRC conversation with @Kaivan, It appears you are no longer able to place towers with the wings touching
