Provocation Targeting Help

Post by Alanzo »

I am having a hard time figuring out an efficient way to target creatures for provocation. It is not easy to simply click on the moving monsters to target them. I have tried messing around with the target functions in Razor but can't quite figure out how they work. Can someone share how they target?

Its been a very long time for me since I've played much or done this,

But I created a provocation macro that would use the skill, wait the appropriate time, and target nearest gray.

From there I would re position myself to another gray (monsters of course) and manually hit a target nearest gray key.

It allowed me to use provocation in situations where I needed to be very mobile, like ophidians, and I could do all of this without using my mouse at all so I could use my mouse to move around.

First of all make sure you music is 100 before training provoke. Also make sure your delay in razor is set to 1000ms under more options

Hide off in a remote stable or anywhere with a wall.
Set the top absolute target to re-target the creature you are provoking. The time is less between a fail and a successful provoke, this macro will help minimize it. You could also change the absolute to target by type if there are more than 1 of the same animal around.

Thanks for posting that but I am already at 100 on both Provo and Music. I am looking for some help with putting Provo into practice in a PvM situation.

Not sure that it's possible to automate barding. I wouldn't trust a macro when a dragon and a daemon are after me. Drag health bars and click works for me..
