I apologise, I wasn't so clear on the rules this time around. Submissions must be recorded songs, you've got the hardest part done, now just lay it over an instrumental :)

I love how the rules so suddenly changed. If this is the case then anyone who submits my ke$ha parody will be subject to HALF the winnings with the other half going to me.

*Edit*
P.S. this isn't fair because I don't have the programs or equipment to record my song so thanks for nothing hemp :@

That looks like Sonar 8.5. I use Sonar 8.5 Producer Edition. It was $400 on sale a couple months ago. :)

That would be correct. My studio now sports the VS-700 system.

Oh, I don't disagree with that. Just saying that entries were to be actual recorded songs. All it takes is a crappy mic and a small recording program, free or not. :)

My point being: if anyone choses to use my parody lyrics to enter their recorded song, I would be willing to split the winnings, anything less = stolen material

I don't think anyone is stealing your stuff... now find someone to do the vocal for you.

It's definitely a generous offer. So far only Chaos has added to the prize (Thank you), hopefully a few other people will so we can convince a few more players to enter.

I should have mine done this week. I had a rough week last week that ended me up in the ER, so I pretty much got nothing done I wanted to do. This week just need to get a day to track vocals and I'll have it up. :D

My submission:

http://www.myspace.com/dragonbrainbrainbrain

edit to elaborate:
Dragon Brain is a awesome band from East Britain. Braughdrim Braun the blacksmith plays the music and writes the stuff, Froster Storh sings and can occasionally be found running around the forests near Britain. Our submission is an original piece titled 'PK', the lyrics are as follows:

Quote:
I'm going through Shame
I'm going through Destard
I'm looking for PK's
Or I'm gonna be one
An mani, corp por,
in vas mani, corp por
Corp por, corp por, corp por
Now I'm in Deciet
Kill some Liches
What do I see?
I see someone vicious
An mani, corp por,
in vas mani, corp por
Corp por, corp por, corp por
Everywhere I go
I see that guy
He tries to paralyze me
Doesn't mean I die
An mani, corp por,
in vas mani, corp por
Kal Ort por x3
